PREVIEW MASTERS #45

The spring issue of MASTERS #45 is one to dream away at. This edition focuses on Luxury Homes and Travel. What are the villa trends according to design journalist Jeroen Junte? And travel... Can we secretly dream again about tropical islands and undiscovered places after one year of denial? In addition, the pages are richly filled with a big interview with two of Holland's most successful actors: Thekla Reuten and Raymond Thiry. And what about Dutch Club love? Sportjournalist Jaap de Groot asks.

Floating pool

The spring issue of MASTERS will feature a special on Luxury Homes, featuring the views of our most authoritative real estate entrepreneurs. Following that, architecture & design journalist Jeroen Junte examines the most striking trends in high-end villa construction. What about a swimming pool that floats between the living levels, with a large underwater window that you can overlook from the living room?

Dream Trip

In addition, the focus in this edition is on Travel. After a year without travel, we may cautiously dream again about tropical beaches, make plans, plot a trip, rejoice!

Masters of the White Screen

You may also look forward to the big interview with two of the country's most successful actors: Thekla Reuten, who was featured last year in Netflix viewing-canon Warrior Nun, and Raymond Thiry, who, since his role as a cold-hearted hitman in Penoza can no longer take a step outside without being accosted by strangers. "The other day a police car stopped next to me, the window opened, the officer said, 'We're watching you...'" Top photographer Rahi Rezvani has brilliantly portrayed these Masters of the White Screen.

Club Love

To gauge the club love of BV Nederland, sports specialist No. 1 Jaap de Groot visits top entrepreneurs such as Marcel Boekhoorn (NEC's sugar daddy), René Neelissen (Supervisory Board chairman AZ) and Duncan Stutterheim (lifelong Ajax supporter): "When I put on the Ajax shirt, I become a warrior and an indefinable over-my-body feeling arises."

Triptyque

We go to the table in Wateringen with Niven Kunz and his partner Virginie van Bronckhorst, who opened their new restaurant Triptyque there last year - in the same building where Niven, as the youngest chef ever, earned a star in 2009. Will he succeed here for the second time?

Artwork full of passion

Irene van de Laar meets artist/curator Erik Kessels, who caused a stir at BredaPhoto with his artwork Destroy my Face. Furthermore, an interview with art and design duo Rive Roshan. Their installations and objects fit the zeitgeist of today, as they challenge us to look at the world from a new perspective. "Our work implies progression, development, movement ... It is important for everyone to think carefully about how we interact with the world and how we should move forward." MASTERS - inspiring, informing, energizing!
