The fifth edition of Movies at the Hermitage in Amsterdam will take place this year during the last two weeks of August. Film experts compiled the program and chose 11 gems of film classics. A total of 10 film evenings will be organized. On Wednesday, August 17, the film Rabat on Wednesday, August 17 and Little Miss Sunshine, on Sunday 21 August the film Jojo Rabbit on the big screen and on Sunday, August 28 Life of Pi. In a magical place, in the middle of the forest, as dusk falls, watching films together that will warm your heart; in the Bosbios near Hilversum this is possible this summer from July 19 to September 18. But not just any films will be shown here, a selection has been made of heartfelt stories about personal quests and life questions that will give you food for thought. Around each theme there is also an extra program with workshops, music or inspiring speakers.

This annual outdoor film festival on Amsterdam's Stenen Hoofd guarantees sultry summer evenings with the best films on the big screen, which you watch from your beach chair, under a blanket with a campfire and cocktails.... The Amsterdam edition of Pluk de Nacht will take place from August 17-27. The initiators are a group of friends with a great love for film. From various film festivals they select the gems that have not been released in the Netherlands or have reached a small audience.

From July 7 through September 3, the Buitenbios in Den Bosch plays the latest films and finest classics in the courtyard of the Verkadefabriek. New this year are the headphones, this makes the movie experience even better. The outdoor cinema is open from Tuesday to Saturday. On Wednesday there will be a Best of 2022 film, on Thursday you will see a classic, on Friday it is Friday Music Night and on Saturday a premiere film will be shown. You might even see your favorite movie come by, as there will be a request number on Tuesday; a movie chosen by one of the Instagram followers.

This summer Pathé Utrecht Leidsche Rijn is screening its films on the cinema's unique roof terrace. Should the film not quite appeal to you after all, you can at least enjoy the view of Utrecht's skyline. Every day you can choose from 20 to 25 different film titles; from action to romantic comedy and from sci-fi to drama, there is something for everyone.
