After ten years, Avatar had to cede the first spot to this Marvel film. Avengers Endgame is the most successful film ever with a worldwide revenue of € 2.6 billion. Considerable profits were made, as production costs amounted to € 331 million. As the title suggests, Avengers Endgame is the last film in the Avengers series. In the finale, the audience got to see if the Avengers, together with Captain Marvel and Ant-Man, among others, manage to defeat Thanos once and for all. The film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
