More and more Dutch people are buying a (second) home abroad. Ibiza is a European favorite in this regard. According to Gooi real estate agent Jacques Walch and Ibiza buying agent François Verhoeven, this is due to the changing rules around real estate investments, assets and inheritance law. At MASTERS EXPO, the two will join forces and jointly present their housing offerings.

As seasoned real estate specialists and developers in Holland and Ibiza, both brokers are noticing a shift. Never before has such a clear change been visible. ''The rules of the game around real estate have changed. This is causing many Dutch people to move abroad fiscally and physically," said François Verhoeven who has long run a successful buying agency in Ibiza. He sees that rent regulation, the new box-3 tax and the expected increase in inheritance tax are causing Dutch people to invest their capital not in Dutch real estate, but elsewhere.

Dutch real estate agent Jacques Walch, who manages some 30 brokers from five brokerage offices, also sees a clear shift. Many of his clients are interested in buying a house abroad. For buying their own - second - home or for rental. "Ibiza beckons because of an interesting living and living environment. Understandable, since investing in Dutch real estate is not as interesting as it used to be."

Jacques and François and their teams have been working together for a long time. In their own words, this is mainly due to the overlap in clientele and their love for Ibiza. From the joint booth in hall 12 at booth number 90, they will present their housing offerings.

But in addition to the housing offerings, specialists are also present at the booth. Think of a lawyer, tax specialist and mortgage specialist. In addition, on December 8 Voorma and Walch Makelaars in het Gooi presented the December edition of its magazine. The very first copy was presented to none other than Bertram Beerbaum of Kabaz, the renowned inspirer of interior design. The new magazine includes an extensive interview with Bertram, in which he shares his own dream house in the Gooi region with the general public.
