"We are going to value our home even more as a safe place, because travel will diminish somewhat, at least change. There is also a greater task, especially for us as designers, the shapers of this world, to preserve the world in all its beauty. More and more you already see nature being cherished in its positive energy. Similarly, more and more greenery is being added indoors, we are literally bringing oxygen indoors. Although it may be difficult to see it this way now, I think we are living in a wonderful time. We are at a crossroads, this is the time to choose and we can start making a real difference. Feeling and intuition are going to play a bigger role. Likewise in the home: the sense of detail and craft we are going to appreciate more again. That will be the luxury - special items from which finesse speaks and where a story can be told. A beautiful niche finished of onyx with backlight, for example. This material is acquired miles deep below sea level, where it has grown for thousands of years and has become translucent due to its high moisture content. These are the gems in the interior."

"The latest trends for luxury interiors are natural, honest materials. This is what defies time and will continue to do so for years to come. What we will see in the coming years is that warmth will return everywhere in the home. In fact, partly because of corona time, we are looking for more homeliness. We are going to make our homes extra cozy and snug. Hence the warmth in materials that will dominate. It sounds a bit daring, but a pine green kitchen, preferably with a golden undertone, will be totally hot! Preferably combined with a beautiful type of marble. This in a nice light color with a green with golden vein. So cool! Furthermore, we continue to combine with matte gold, bronze, gun metal and copper. This is often processed very subtly in interiors, but gives a very chic look. Especially in combination with black oak or Wenge, leather, velvet fabrics and high-pile carpets. The new interior trends are really a treat to realize!"

"Our designs are an expression of the zeitgeist. 2021 will be a year of reflection. Because of the coronavirus situation, we are becoming more aware of health and our own immediate environment. We are literally and figuratively forced to look inward. Everyone has their own story. We seize on that to create a personal design. We foresee that these stories are mostly about enjoyment in and around your own home. We design multifunctional homes that allow you to relax and have energy. We foresee an increasing need for warmth and human contact, time to enjoy each other's company in one's own home. We design many yoga and wellness rooms, large cozy kitchens to gather endlessly with family and friends, for example. In the current zeitgeist of contemplation and attention, softer forms fit in with this. Lots of elegant curves and natural forms. We see that the connection to the outdoors is also very important. We bring a lot of green into the home but also create a lot of views of the surroundings, the city skyline or the trees in the garden. Our interiors are inseparable from the building, the garden, the street, it falls together like puzzle pieces. Our goal is to create a design that makes you happy."

"Quality and sustainability are the keywords for our work in 2021. These have always been our guiding principles, but they take on extra meaning in the current times. In many ways, we shape quality and sustainability. We invest in personal attention for our clients to make their dreams come true. Our designs reflect their personality as well as their daily lives. We pay great attention to interior spaces that become even more important. With a well thought-out layout and nice atmosphere, we create space to be together, but also to retreat. ZOEN's furniture and doors fit perfectly into this endeavor through their combination of the finest materials with unusual shapes and technical ingenuity. The ZOEN collection is sophisticated and timeless at the same time. All furniture and doors are handmade in the Netherlands, a conscious and sustainable choice. From the perspective of sustainability, we combine materials that last a long time and are made as sustainable as possible with innovative techniques for insulation and heating, for example. We also like to use our creativity and inventiveness to redevelop old properties and rebuild outdated homes. In this way, an unsightly house can be transformed into the most beautiful villa."
