At the brand leader of ceramics and pottery, heritage, craftsmanship, local identity and unique experiences of the people who keep these practices alive come together. This happens at Royal Boch and Royal Goedewaagen, among others.

Royal Boch

The Belgian brand Royal Boch has been designing, producing and selling luxury tableware since 1841. Handmade pottery by famous designers, such as Boerenbont, Kitchen, Vienne and Copenhague. Because of their style and simplicity, these items have become true classics. Each one perfect for every moment and every kitchen. The luxury tableware can be admired here.

Royal Goedewaagen

Made with passion and care in the factory in Drenthe, where craftsmanship has been at the center for more than four centuries. Tradition begins as something new. A new direction, a new way. The same is true of Delft Blue and ceramics. A tradition born of the passion with which the brand operates. Royal Goedewaagen is one of the oldest pottery factories in Europe and has been producing with Delftware and ceramics for over 400 years. With an eye for innovative designs, traditional forms and detailed handwork: original, unique and a conscious choice for quality.

Royal Goedewaagen carries out every step of the production process in its own factory. They design and use their own molds, pour and bake the clay themselves and paint and paint everything in their own workshop. That saves a lot of transport kilometers and therefore a lot of CO2 emissions.

At Goedewaagen, they specialize in making custom miniatures. They released the first Delft Blue miniature of a historic building in 1932. Since then they have made more than four hundred different Delft Blue and polychrome miniatures for clients all over the world. One such example is a miniature of their first brewery for Heineken on the occasion of their 150th anniversary. Each miniature is designed by Goedewaagen with great attention to detail and carefully hand-painted in their own workshop.
