Boozed brings a story to life

Bringing a story to life and giving visitors an experience they won't soon forget. That is the aim of the creatives of the event agency Boozed. MASTERS spoke with Creative Director Kim de Ridder.Text: Patrick Stoffer

What is Boozed?

Kim: ''Boozed is the creative experience architect that brings to life a story with impact. Making every brand, location or moment visible and tangible. At Boozed we have all the building blocks in-house, from advice, design, concept to implementation. All disciplines to translate an idea into an experience that matters.''

What can people turn to Boozed for?

Kim: ''People can come to us for all kinds of experiences. We don't turn our hand to complex projects. And we don't turn our noses up at intimate productions. Every environment at home, but certainly also abroad, is suitable for an accurate translation of your message and where the wow effect is the sum of everything you perceive. From a large-scale event, exhibition stand or brand activation to an intimate dinner setting or spot-on decor or interior. ''

What do you excel at?

Kim: ''We are creative boosters and we always go further to put your brand, your vision in the right spotlight. Because your concept really becomes our project. From the first sketches to the last details. What distinguishes Boozed from other agencies or designers?

Kim: ''We think along with our clients, but we also definitely think against when the story deserves a more powerful stage, a smarter solution or a more challenging look and feel that no one has yet thought of. In doing so, we unburden our clients throughout the entire process.''

Who is your target audience?

Kim: ''Anyone ready to put their brand, vision or important moment in the right spotlight through a cool experience that may even be a tad rebellious.''

How did Quote's booth at MASTERS EXPO come about?

Kim: ''When Quote was linked to us by MASTERS EXPO, it was immediately a super match. Because Quote had something to celebrate; the 25th edition of the Quote 500! In addition, Quote was not shocked by the bold and quirky design. Because rebellious Quote and Boozed are both. It was wonderful to see how everyone got a big smile when looking at our joint stand. ''

What are the most unique, special events Boozed has hosted?

Kim: ''Every event, every place is unique, but our top three are:

1. Project Playground

How beautiful it can be when multiple parties work together and turn a special situation (lockdown1st year) into a unique experience. A journey along all the characteristics that organizers, but also visitors had to go through during that period; daring, imagination, inquisitiveness and playfulness.

For this event we won the Golden Giraffe. The award for the best business events in the Netherlands.

2. Crew area during Eurovision Song Contest

The Dutch organization not only ensured an unforgettable edition in front of the scenes. Behind the scenes, too, the crew was hospitably welcomed into an atmospheric environment during the many weeks of set-up and take-down. Truly a home away from home. If the international organization wants this edition to be the new benchmark for the next one, then you know it's good.

3. Red Bull Unlocked

The most recent is Red Bull Unlocked. The ultimate party with 12 iconic clubs under one roof. Boozed was allowed to take care of the decoration of this super cool event where the USPs of each venue were highlighted.''

What kind of event would you like to dress up for?
