A cleaner planet thanks to Christmas decorations

The world is becoming more environmentally conscious, and that's a good thing. Every year more than 500 billion plastic bottles are produced, resulting in more than eight million tons of plastic waste ending up in the ocean. A big plastic soup that absolutely has to change, and that starts with Christmas decorations. Yes, you read it right: Christmas decoration! King of (Christmas) lighting and MASTERS COMPANY Adventure-BlachereNL is from now on contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful planet with new recyclable and biodegradable Christmas decorations. And this year they also have a big first at MASTERS EXPO.Text: Patrick Stoffer
Image: Adventure-BlachereLDThe temperatures are dropping, it's getting darker earlier and everywhere, inner cities, shopping malls and entrepreneurs are pulling out all the stops to make the Netherlands shine again. Chances are they will shine this winter with recyclable and biodegradable Christmas decorations!

After Adventure-BlachereNL was the first to use LED lighting on a large scale, last year they revolutionized their Christmas lights by using Bioprint: a biodegradable plastic made from sugarcane. With more than nine 3D printers, they make colorful, biodegradable and recyclable Christmas ornaments.

And this year at MASTERS EXPO a first will take place. Because during the fair, Adventure-BlachereNL is presenting its latest innovation Recyprint to the general public. A brand new series of the world's first Christmas decorations made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. The goal: fewer plastic bottles in the ocean for a cleaner and more beautiful world. Of course you don't want to miss this, so buy your tickets here.
