These are the most expensive cities to live in 2022

The international mobility company ECA International recently announced its annual list of the most expensive cities to live in 2022. The costs in this list are mainly aimed at the living expenses of foreign employees and expats.

Asia takes the crown

It can safely be said that Asia takes the win with no fewer than five cities in the list: Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Seoul. By the way, it is the third year in a row that Hong Kong has claimed the top spot, so before you move to the city of millions, you first have to beef up your bank account. Dutch cities do not appear in this list. And then you think that Amsterdam is already expensive to live in. Where the Netherlands does appear is in the top 10 of richest countries in the world.
