Spend the whole day (electrically) on the water: Hytender launches Ribbon R28HY Monza

The new Hytender 28HY Monza is the first seaworthy, full carbon tender that can sail both quickly hybrid and fully electric. In addition, it is the first boat in the world with an 800 volt hybrid system. This means you can spend all day on the water with the 28HY Monza. MASTERS spoke to the Hytender team at the stand and asked them more about the launch of the special yacht.

Hytender can proudly announce that the Ribbon R28HY Monza is ready to conquer the world of yachts: ''All the pieces have fallen together and enormous steps have been taken in recent years. Of course, Hytender continues to develop every day, but with our current model we already have a significant lead in the market." 

The Hytender has been designed with meticulous attention to every detail, which is sure to attract everyone's attention. This was already evident during the MASTERS SUMMER EDITION, when the Monza graced the scaffolding of De l'Europe. But the tender was also unmissable during trial runs and photo shoots. 

How were your first days here at MASTERS EXPO?

'We really enjoyed the first few days and really noticed that people came by to admire the new model and also to look at the progress we have made with Hytender.' 

We are here at the first official launch of Hytender. Can you tell us more about this model?

'Yes, the new Hytender 28HY Monza is now built in such a way that it is completely seaworthy. A nice feature of this boat is that it has a completely new hybrid system and as far as we know it is the only one in the world that has this. When designing this boat, we really looked at greening so that we can sail as economically as possible.'

What do you think is the best feature of the 28HY Monza?

'The best feature is really the new hybrid line that it contains. This means that you can sail electrically at all times; even all day if you want. In contrast to normal electric sailing where you are often limited to two hours maximum sailing time. So we are very proud of that!' 

Own production hall on Dutch soil 

The developments are now so significant that Hytender is currently working on its own production hall in Dodewaard. This allows the company to ensure that every Hytender that comes into circulation is an original, handmade product.
