Classic hamburger

  • 600 grams of ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • Snuff paprika powder
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 jalapeno pepper
  • 1 large tomato
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 packs of cheddar
  • 1 head of lettuce

For the sauce:

  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • 25 g of ketchup
  • 25 g mustard
  • 10 g sriracha sauce (hot chili sauce)

Knead the minced meat and add it to a bowl. Add the egg and paprika powder and season with salt and pepper. Stir everything together and divide into equal portions and shape it like a hamburger. Peel the onion and cut the onion and jalapeño pepper into thin rings. Cut the tomato into slices and halve the hamburger buns.

Place the bacon on the baking tray and fry until crispy in a few minutes. Fry the onion rings in the released fat until done and golden brown.

Then place the burgers on the grill, close it with a lid and grill the burgers for about 3 minutes. Turn the burgers and grill them for 1 minute. Leave the burgers on the grill and top them with the fried onions, bacon, jalapeño and a slice of cheddar. Place both sides of the hamburger buns on the cut surface of the grill and cover with a lid. Check after 2 minutes whether the cheese has melted and the sandwiches are toasted properly.

Brush the bottom half of the rolls with the sauce and top with the lettuce and tomato slices. Place the topped hamburger on top, spoon another spoonful of sauce on top and cover with the top of the bun. Just attack.

Vegetarian burger

  • 200 gr chickpeas
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • Pinch of chili powder
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Sla
  • Tomato
  • Carrot

Rinse the chickpeas and drain. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat a pan on the stove with some oil and fry the garlic and onion for about 5 minutes until they are golden brown.

Place the chickpeas in a bowl and use a fork to mash them. This can also be done in a blender or with a hand blender. They don't have to be completely nice. but there may still be some coarse pieces in it. Now add the fried garlic and onion to the chickpeas together with the barbecue sauce, flour, cumin powder, smoked paprika powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix this into a cohesive whole and set aside.

Now make the cucumber salad. To do this, slice the cucumber very thinly or use a mandolin or cheese slicer to cut thin slices. Finely chop the chives. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the mayonnaise, lemon juice, cucumber, chives, garlic powder and a pinch of salt.

Form 2 patties from the chickpea mixture and fry until brown on both sides. Make sure you grease them well with oil beforehand and make sure they don't get too dark during baking.

Cut the sandwiches in half and spread with some barbecue sauce, top with the burger, the cucumber salad, some lettuce, tomato slices and carrot.
