Santorini gets a new luxurious base

Known for its white houses with blue, domed roofs, Santorini is without a doubt one of the most picturesque Greek islands. And with the opening of a new resort, the island can count on a new luxurious base this summer. If you don't have any holiday plans yet...

Santo Collection will launch its new Santo Mine resort in June. On the site of an old stone mine, in the cliffs of Oia, there are 37 suites. Each with its own swimming pool or jacuzzi and direct views over the Aegean Sea.

The minimalist design, with the raw edge of the cliffs, combined with wood, creates a breathtaking design. A total of seven suite options are available, designed for two to four guests. The cream of the crop is the Majestic Suite Sunset & Sea View room with a separate bedroom and living room, as well as a private terrace with breathtaking sea views. Included in the stay are access to the bar, wine cellar, spa and outdoor gym.

Santo Pure

Not far from the debuting resort in Oia is Santo Pure. This existing resort is also undergoing a minor metamorphosis with the arrival of 20 new suites, including two villas. If you really want to take your holiday stay to the next level, staying in one of the villas gives you the option of personal concierge services, a private chef or a spa. But exclusive excursions are also possible. You can opt for a day on a private yacht or a helicopter flight.
