Every process for processing the hides takes place under our watchful eye. The leather is 'made' by ourselves. Consider the pre-processing, the color, the finishing of the top layer and cutting to the correct size. This allows us to accentuate the natural features and color nuances. And that ensures that each piece of leather can show its own character. Because if we can use the word unique anywhere, it applies to leather. A natural product of which literally not one piece is the same. Sustainable too, because although that sounds a bit inferior, leather is actually a residual product. The studio and assembly hall are literally the cradle of unprecedented possibilities for Alphenberg. Since moving into the building in Waalwijk, we have had our own fantastic studio at our disposal. It is located on the top floor of our 2019, completely renovated in 18ecentury building. With a view over the roofs of Waalwijk you can enjoy the beautiful light. It is a breeding ground for innovation. Here and in our assembly hall near our showroom, creativity is born and the process of research into possibilities grows, with or without designers or architects, towards extraordinary applications with leather in the interior. In addition to the usual assembly and preparation, research and experiments also take place, with wickerwork, decorative stitching, mosaics, handles, patterns, reliefs and die-cutting. It's just a sample of what's going on there. It is examined and transformed out-of-the-box into a design or an operation with sometimes very surprising results.
We no longer need to explain that leather is a rich basis for your interior, nor do we need to explain the quality and exclusivity of our products. But what we are very proud of is the high quality of the team we work with. The people who actually bring the leather to life in your interior.
