't NONNETJE **

This year 't Nonnetje celebrates its 25th anniversary! But owner Robert-Jan Nijland is not resting on his laurels and has undergone a major metamorphosis in recent months. None other than interior designer Niels Maier, who also designed the interior of Brut172** by top chef Hans van Wolde. Cost: more than half a million. In the kitchen, the ever-enthusiastic craftsman Michel van der Kroft has been responsible for the two Michelin stars on the facade for more than 17 years. His love for Portugal (Céu, Michel's wife, is Portuguese) is reflected on the menu and can be tasted in his signature dishes, such as the ravioli filled with 'Queijo da Serra da Estrela' (sheep's cheese) and of course his world-famous pastry 'Pastéis de Nata'. The Nuns are still bursting with ambition and are going for Olympic Gold.

YANO

A tribute to their children Yara and Noah is the merging of the first two letters to name their restaurant. Yuri and Britta Wattimena both gained extensive experience in the culinary world before opening their own restaurant YANO. Yuri worked in the restaurants of master chef François Geurds (FG Food Labs * and FG Restaurant **), Amarone * and last three years in the position of sous chef at The Millèn. Britta worked as a hostess at the same first three restaurants and spent six months at De Kaashoeve in the world of cheeses to specialize more in it. All Rotterdam to experience a worldly cooking style with a touch of Moluccan cuisine, because of the chef's origins. SMEELE Design designed the interior, a mix of Japanese and Scandinavian influences.

MASTERS Magazine

This article is from MASTERS Magazine. In the spring edition of MASTERS, three entrepreneurs shed light on the future: Raymon Pouwels (GO Sharing), Merel van Helsdingen (Nxt Museum) and Tim van der Wiel (GoSpooky). According to the latter, ever-accelerating technological progress offers enormous opportunities. “There has never been a better time to have a good idea. The technology is in your pocket!” Sports journalist Jaap de Groot outlines the contours of the new playing field of international sport after the resounding success of the World Cup in Qatar. And futurist Adjiedj Bakas also sheds light on the future. According to him, next year will be all about the search for the economy of happiness. “We are not just going to look at what makes us money, but at what makes us happy.” Perhaps this edition will contribute to this, with a look back at MASTERS EXPO, a road trip with the new Range Rover and interviews with horse pope Jan Tops, Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner, chef Margot Janse and visual artist Spencer Tunick. Luck!
