Hendricks Yachting is back: the sun is shining, the suitcases are packed and the boats are ready. MASTERS Member Peter Hendricks is prepared for the new season. With focus on Ibiza, Dubai, Mykonos, the Netherlands, Croatia and the South of France, Hendricks and his team are essential stops this summer.

Hendricks Yachting is back again: the sun is shining, the suitcases are packed and the boats are in good condition. Holidaymakers are planning their holidays again and are of course not turning down a wonderful boat trip. MASTERS Member Peter Hendricks is ready for the new season and with the focus on Ibiza, Dubai, Mykonos, the Netherlands, Croatia and the South of France, Hendricks and his team are almost impossible to miss this summer. The possibilities

Hendricks Yachting offers something for everyone: whether it is for a group of friends, a fun family day with children or business-oriented, with the extensive service everything is taken care of down to the last detail. “American Express customers also come to Hendricks Yachting, we take these requests and charter mainly for this specific group of boats in Dubai, France and Ibiza.” In addition to the chartered boat, a skipper, sea bob and drinks and lunch package are available on board. Any jet skis or other water gadgets can of course be arranged on request. “Some boats, such as the rib boats, can be steered by the customer themselves. This person must be in possession of a valid boating license II.”

This year, Hendricks is adding a number of new boats to its range: from new Wajers and Vanquishes to the Mangusta and the first on the market in Ibiza, the Steeler Bronson 50. In Dubai, Hendricks Yachting charters yachts from Sunseeker, Azimut and Princess Yachts. “Some of my colleagues in Dubai want better quality boats, so we are going to bring some boats from our trade to Dubai for their charters.”

The trend of 2021

"One outboard motorcycle is a phenomenon that we see more and more often, but which is not yet really popular in Ibiza. This is because all engines still... onboard are attached and nicely concealed in the rear part of the boat.” The outboard engine is easier to use and if the engine is broken, only the engine is replaced and the entire deck does not have to be broken up. This construction is very interesting for the charter market and is now only seen a lot in Miami and Sint Maarten.

Follow or create trends

“From next year it will be possible to take out a membership with a number of my partners so that the customer can sail whenever he or she wants. So you pay for a trip card and can then sail with a selected group on days of your choice.” In addition to an exclusive membership, members of the lifestyle & hospitality app JUMPTHE-Q, by MASTERS Member Tom Brokking, can reserve boats exclusively at Hendricks this August. “This is very exclusive, as August is a very difficult month to get last-minute boats at the hotspots.”

Entrepreneurial tip

Hendricks has been chartering yachts for several years alongside his other shipbuilding company, Hendricks Shipping Group. “I am so very happy that I took the step to do this. Chartering the boats, customer contact and service really suit me. This is actually my entrepreneurial tip: do what you are passionate about and do business in what really interests you. We often look at others, the grass is always greener on the other side. Stay close to yourself, because that is what is real.”
