GREAT BOOK OF GREATNESS

Today was the day. During MASTERS EXPO on Friday, December 8, the worldwide launch of 'Great Book of Greatness' by the art collective YVESKE took place. This book contains 191 works inspired by famous names of people who, in their own way, have an impact on the world as we know it today. From leading politicians to top athletes, from well-known entrepreneurs to unique designers.

Today was the day, during MASTERS EXPO on Friday, December 8, the worldwide launch of 'Great Book of Greatness' by the art collective YVESKE took place. This book contains 191 works, inspired by famous names of people who in their own way have an impact on the world as we know it today. From leading politicians to top athletes, from well-known entrepreneurs to unique designers.

Shawn Carter (Jay-Z), Barack Obama, Yohji Yamamoto, Frank Gehry, Anna Wintour, Bono and Tiger Woods, among others, belong to this unique list. This afternoon the first buyers of the book received a unique copy. The accompanying artwork, which was cast in epoxy especially for the launch, was brought from Masters HQ to the YVESKE stand at MASTERS EXPO early this morning, under special police escort.

The carefully compiled list of 191 inspiring people was collected by Yves Gijrath. Works were then created that accurately reflect the different stories of the 191 people from the compiled list.

1.000 copies of GREAT BOOK OF GREATNESS are available worldwide, of which only 100 are sold in the Netherlands. A number of works from the book can be seen enlarged on the stand, which can be called 'hybrid art'. This means that different techniques have been used for the final result, both new techniques as we know them now and traditional art techniques.

Today was also the official unveiling of the work featuring Marcel Boekhoorn, one of the 191 main characters from YVESKE's list. During the unveiling, the project could count on a well-filled stand of visitors, including buyers of the limited edition of GREAT BOOK OF GREATNESS.
