When did the entrepreneurial magic start for you?

''Entrepreneurship was something I learned from home, but I only really started doing business myself in 1995. At the time I came into contact with someone in the events world. Within a few months I had founded my own company and entered the magical world of Nautical Events. '' 

What is the most magical moment of your career?

''The most magical moment has to be the trial run that I was able to make with the first hydrofoil, fully developed for Western European waters. Flying over the water… You should have seen the faces of viewers on shore; At a speed of more than 40 knots a large colossus came sailing towards them, floating above the water."

What is your motto? 

''My motto is: 'If you can't divide, you can't multiply.'''

If you could make a magic potion, what entrepreneurial talents would it contain?

''For me, the ingredients are: always support your decision, think two steps ahead, stick your head above the parapet, don't wait for someone else to make a decision for you, dare to invest and rely on your own feelings. ''

What are the trends in the coming year in the field of Yachting?

''In the coming years, yacht building will also become more sustainable. You are already seeing this in the world of superyachts. The luxury tender market is therefore also innovating in the field of cleaner propulsion and material choices. So we are very much at the forefront in that regard and will have a nice lead in the coming years.”
