The 2025 fashion year is drawing to a close, and the results show that the design world is no longer dominated by iconic giants alone. A handful of brands that successfully shifted their direction have demonstrated remarkable growth, driven by strong collections, solid brand performance, innovation, online visibility, and sustainability.
The end of the 2025 fashion year is almost here, and the results show that the design world is no longer solely about the iconic giants. A few brands that managed to change their course have shown remarkable growth. Who are they?
The performance and growth potential of the world's largest brands are tracked annually by Vogue Business through an Index, considered one of the most influential benchmarks in the fashion industry. The list is compiled based on six pillars: brand value, financial performance, digital visibility, consumer experience, innovation, and sustainability.
And that's precisely why it's all the more remarkable which brands made the leap to the top this year. These are the five most notable climbers of 2025:
5.Loewe
Loewe is steadily increasing in popularity and cultural influence. The Spanish fashion house has been demonstrating significant growth in the luxury sector for some time now, driven by innovative designs and a strong creative identity.
4. Miu Miu
Miu Miu also showed impressive growth last year. According to international analyses, the brand is considered one of the "hottest brands" from 2025. The combination of playful elegance and cultural momentum makes Miu Miu a brand with global visibility.
3.Saint Laurent
In the 2025 ranking, Saint Laurent jumped two places to number five. The brand scored strongly on pillars that carried more weight this year: digital engagement, ESG (environmental and social) initiatives, and omnichannel strategy.
Saint Laurent proves that growth in the fashion world comes not only from design, but from the integration of product, experience, and a powerful brand story.
2.Dior
Dior took second place, surpassing rival Gucci. Its 2025 success is largely due to a renewed digital strategy, a stronger consumer experience, and a refined brand feel. Dior demonstrated how an iconic fashion house can regain its relevance by combining timeless products with modern touchpoints.
1 Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren's biggest gainer this year was the fashion house. The fashion house climbed an impressive seven places in the Index, finishing fourth. Its renewed focus on a premium yet accessible look was a global success, reaffirming its relevance in the contemporary luxury segment. The company achieved revenues of $7,1 billion, a growth of approximately 7% compared to the previous year.
