Car from The Wolf of Wall Street goes under the hammer
For those who have seen the blockbuster The Wolf of Wall Street, it is a memorable scene. Leonardo DiCaprio attempts to get into his expensive white Lamborghini while under the influence of alcohol. Small spoiler: the car does not survive. At least in the movie. The Lamborghini Countach in question will be offered at auction in December.

The Wolf of Wall Street shows how New York stock trader Jordan Belfort – played by DiCaprio – loses himself in a life full of excess: prostitutes, parties, nice cars and drugs. One of the most famous scenes is the moment when Belfort, heavily under the influence, tries to get into his very expensive Lamborghini.
Millions expected
The film specifically concerns the Countach 25th Anniversary. Named for the company's twenty-fifth anniversary, this version was built during the line's final three years of production. The car became by far the most advanced version of the type. This is partly due to the various design improvements developed by none other than Horacio Pagani. In addition, the 25th Anniversary became a bit faster. Thanks to a 5.2 liter V-12 with 449 hp, the supercar can sprint from 4.5 to 0 kilometers per hour in 100 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
The Countach will be auctioned intact by Sotheby's on December 8 in New York. The supercar is expected to sell for between €1.3 million and €1.8 million.
