28 football partners, one shared passion: GASSAN and football

A new football season brings new expectations, new heroes and above all another ninety minutes in which anything can happen. For GASSAN, this marks the start of a new season across Dutch football pitches.

Football is in GASSAN's DNA. The connection with the sport goes back years and began with Feyenoord. The Amsterdam family business is now linked to sixteen clubs in the Eredivisie and eight clubs in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

GASSAN is also active outside professional football. With AFC Amsterdam, Quick Boys and Feyenoord Amateurs, three amateur teams are among its football partners. Additionally, the family business is a Celebration Partner of the KNVB. This brings the total network to 28 collaborations within Dutch football.

A fitting connection, moreover. A watch should ideally run accurate to the second, yet that single second in a football stadium can cause complete chaos. Ask any supporter who has seen their club defend a lead deep into injury time.

Passion as common ground

What do GASSAN and football have in common, according to the company? Passion. And that commitment goes further than a name along the pitch. In recent years, football has also become an important part of GASSAN's business side. Members of business clubs and players are received at the diamond factory in Amsterdam, where they can see up close how a rough diamond is cut.

"Football is emotion, so sponsorship must also come from a piece of emotion," GASSAN says. This explains why the company approaches its collaboration with the clubs not solely as sponsorship, but primarily as a long-term bond with the sport.
