University College London 

Princess Alexia will start her bachelor's degree at University College London (UCL) this year Science & Engineering for Social Change. During this study, students say they acquire ''sought-after skills that prepare them for solving important social challenges. By studying topics from technical, social and political perspectives, they gain multidisciplinary knowledge that is highly valued in business, government, and the non-profit sector.'' UCL is located in the heart of London, surrounded by parks, museums and shops. Founded in 1826, it was the first university in the United Kingdom to admit students regardless of origin or religion. Moreover, UCL was the first British university to open its doors to female students and to study a foreign language. Notable alumni include Mahatma Gandhi and inventor Alexander Graham Bell. You will have to pay a lot of money for a place at the university: according to Quote, the study costs amount to no less than £32.100 (€ 37.796).

University of St. Andrews 

This historic university in Scotland, founded in 1413, is one of the oldest and most prestigious in the United Kingdom. St Andrews became known worldwide when Prince William and Kate Middleton met here during their studies. Recently, Lady Louise Windsor, the youngest granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, completed her second year of English at this prestigious university. The 20-year-old, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, follows the tradition of royals choosing St Andrews. Notable alumni include former British Prime Minister Alex Salmond and Princess Theodora of Greece. ESCP Business School 

With campuses in cities such as Paris, London and Madrid, the ESCP Business School offers an international experience that is proving attractive to many royals. For example, Claus-Casimir of Oranje-Nassau van Amsberg chose the branch in Turin where he hopes to complete his training in 2025. ESCP has influential alumni such as former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and L'Oréal founder Eugène Schueller. The tuition fees? €18.700. 

Harvard Kennedy School 

Princess Elisabeth of Belgium is one of the latest royal students to make her way to Harvard. She will start the Masters in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School in Boston from this summer, after completing her studies in 'History & Politics' at Lincoln College of the University of Oxford. The school's goal is to train students to become "effective leaders in the public, nonprofit and private sectors." And it shows... Notable alumni include eight American presidents, including Barack Obama and John F. Kennedy .
