Jet with hydrogen-powered electric engines

We have known for a while that aircraft pollute. So a lot of thought is given to electric flying. But yes, batteries are heavy and to keep a heavier aircraft in the air, you need significantly more energy, so more batteries. And then transcontinental flying becomes very difficult again. The only solution seems to be to fly with electric propulsion on hydrogen. Hydrogen, the same stuff that sent the Apollos into space. And that is what the Sirius Jet is now fully committed to. For the time being, it is still a project in development, but with the Formula 1 team of Sauber and BMW as partners, we can certainly take Sirius seriously.

Extreme explorer

Dynamiq proudly presents the Global 550, a robust go-anywhere explorer embedded in subtle luxury. Dutch bicycle manufacturer Gazelle is introducing new electric bicycles that focus primarily on comfort and a long range: the Eclipse range, consisting of the Eclipse T11 HMB and Eclipse C380 HMB (winner of the iF Design Award 2023). Both are equipped with a powerful Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a maximum torque of 85 Nm. They also have a built-in GPS sensor and theft and damage insurance for the first year. This way, you can set off with peace of mind. You will also find peace of mind in the battery in the solid center tube - a perfect combination of an active sitting position and the fitting of the largest battery, with a capacity of 750 Wh, with which you can cycle up to 135 kilometers. You control the e-bike system with the compact, but very comprehensive Bosch Kiox 300 display. This shows information such as your speed and distance traveled. Thanks to the extra wide tires and reliable Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, you can go through all corners with maximum stability and precision. The difference between the two models? First of all, the C380 has an Enviolo Trekking Manual stepless gear system, while the T11 uses a Shimano Deore XT with 11 derailleur gears. On average, the C380 weighs 28,3 kg and the T11 27,2 kg. The models are available in different colors, with anthracite gray or metallic orange for the C380 and anthracite gray or thyme green for the T11. For both models, you can opt for a step-through or stepover frame. The Gazelle Eclipse C380 and T11 HMB e-bikes have a price tag of €5.999 and €5.499 respectively.

Raising the bar

Since BMW launched their GS (Gelände/Straße) model in 1980, this on- & off-roader has been a sales success. It also proved to be a sporty success, because a GS won the Paris-Dakar rally as early as 1981.
