Shefishe
Five years ago, Sjefietshe started as a pop-up, and now it is the first real cevicheria in Amsterdam, in the middle of the Pijp. In this vibrant café, you can taste what many consider to be the very best ceviche in the city – a fresh South American classic of marinated raw fish. Fancy something different? The well-known dishes have also been given a twist here, and don't forget the iconic 'hotdoctopus'. Yes, that's right: a hot dog and octopus in one.
Le French Café
At Le French Café in the lively Javastraat you will feel like you are in Paris. Perfect for a relaxed brunch with classics like Eggs Benedict and steak tartare, or for a nice drink later in the day. The drinks menu is so tempting that it is almost impossible not to stay. And with the heated terrace, you can also find an excellent spot here on chilly days—without the cold.
Ron Gastrobar | Sophialaan, Amsterdam
Ron Gastrobar, offers an accessible Michelin experience on one of the most atmospheric (and heated) terraces in Amsterdam-Zuid. The place to relax with a drink and enjoy everything the menu has to offer—from classics like beef Wellington and spareribs to surprising BBQ dishes with wagyu and turbot.
Eetcafe Schotsheuvel
Schotsheuvel, a beloved gem in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid, is the perfect place for an atmospheric drink or dinner. A spontaneous toast to a new job, a first date or a dinner with family? Without a reservation you can walk in here at any time and enjoy the Burgundian hospitality. And of course a heated terrace to top it all off.
Bar Botanique
The building has a rich history; from a primary school gym to the iconic Café de Ponteneur. With Bar Botanique they keep the neighborhood tradition alive, but in a tropical jacket. Even on a cold day it feels like a warm summer evening here, in the heart of Amsterdam—of course with a gin and tonic in hand.
