Visit a whiskey bar 

Let's be honest; Father's Day is a good reason to retreat to a bar with your father and enjoy a good glass of liquid gold. MASTERS previously listed a number of bars in the Netherlands where it is good to hang out. For example, you have the leading Whiskey Café L&B, which has been located in Amsterdam near Leidseplein for more than 40 years. Of a single malt to one cask strength ; all types, sizes, maturations and ages can be tasted here. This bar's collection contains no fewer than 2.100 whiskies. Or take The Malt Vault in Utrecht, which is also a good place for newcomers to the whiskey world.

Artistic walk

The Art Zuid Foundation has existed for 15 years this year and was founded by a group of residents from Amsterdam South. Every two years, controversial images are exhibited for four months on the green avenues of Berlage's Plan-Zuid. This year, the 50 works of art represent a mix of internationally known artists and young talent and are mainly aimed at appealing to young people. Definitely worth a detour with your dad... The route map and catalog are available in the ARTZUID Information Pavilion. Of course, you don't want to 'accidentally' lose your way and end up on the terrace.

Historic Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort 

The Historic Grand Prix takes you back to the racing world of the past. From the first official race in 1948 to today, Circuit Zandvoort has gone through many eras and spawned many great Formula 1 champions. This Sunday, June 18, will be all about racing. On this day the circuit welcomes a mix of the best international historic racing classes.
