Seven Seas Grandeur: inspired by the past and ready for the future

The new Seven Seas Grandeur® will be christened on December 10, 2023 by none other than Sarah Fabergé. The leading luxury cruise line has announced that the founding member of the Fabergé Heritage Council and great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé will be godmother of the new ship.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the world's leading luxury cruise line, has been delivering an unparalleled experience for more than 30 years. With a maximum of 732 guests, the spacious and stylish ships sail to 450+ worldwide destinations.

The Seven Seas Grandeur is the newest ship in the fleet, which will enter service in November 2023. The ship is inspired by the past and ready for the future and is, in its own words, an excellent example of the Heritage of Perfection from Regent Seven Seas Cruises – the unprecedented space, the unparalleled service, the culinary delights and the transformation that happens to guests as soon as they step aboard. 

Baptismal Gala in Miami

Sarah Fabergé will christen the ship on December 10, 2023 during a stylish and exclusive gala in Miami, Florida. Actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, who has won both an Emmy and a Tony Award, will perform for this occasion. After the naming gala, the ship departs for a three-night Caribbean cruise. After returning to Miami, the Seven Seas Grandeur will begin her first cruise season in the Caribbean.

Constant perfection

Sarah's choice as Godmother of Seven Seas Grandeur stems from Regent Seven Seas Cruise's partnership with Fabergé. The two companies previously unveiled a handmade Fabergé x Regent Seven Seas Cruises Egg Objet, the first Fabergé egg that will be permanently on display at sea.
