Dr. Kazem explains: ''After CoolSculpting we start by tightening the abdomen. This is called EmSculpt and is an electromagnetic therapy that lasts about 30 minutes. With this treatment, the abdominal muscles are stimulated by administering impulses. This is equivalent to a workout indeed 20.000 crunches. This gives a significant tightening of the muscles mentioned and an increase of twenty to thirty percent of the muscle mass.'' EmSculpt ensures no less than 20.000 muscle contractions, even with the best intentions in the gym you will not succeed... Dr. Kazem guesses advise clients who exercise to do EmSculpt once a year and for non-athletes twice a year.

Last week MASTERS talked to Dr. Kazem to ask whether sun and cosmetic surgery go together. The plastic surgeon indicated that major surgical interventions are not a good idea, because too much sun does not contribute to optimal recovery of scar tissue.
