Product design by Studio Mariska Jagt: comfort, softness and refined simplicity

The Jig

The Jig is a bench with many options and possibilities. The sleek base with steel legs forms a nice contrast with the coarser cushions and accessories.

The Drift

The Drift collection consists of a series of washbasins and bowls and a bath. The inspiration for the design is taken from the natural power of flowing water, sometimes powerful and off the beaten track. This resulted in clean, straight lines on the surface, and soft, elegant elements on the inside. For the implementation, Studio Mariska Jagt used Solid Surface, a strong material that is easy to clean and complements the design perfectly.

The Twist

The Twist is inspired by layering and balance. All layers are related to each other because the thickness increases at the same rate. This creates a natural balance. The outer shell provides extra flexibility in material and finish and provides strong details at the front. In addition, the difference in material is more clearly reflected by the height difference at the back of the armchair.

The Bullit

Studio Mariska Jagt designed The Bullit in collaboration with Maretti Lighting. The shape of The Bullit is a combination of the shapes of a bullet and a cannon. This gives it a sturdy look, but the use of a slim frame keeps the appearance light. The frame runs along the top of the bullet shape, making it appear as if the bullet is floating in the air.

The One

Studio Mariska Jagt designed a collection of unique doors for Doors Orange. In the innovative concept, the doors are able to completely disappear into the wall, making them one with the interior. The collection consists of designs for revolving doors, sliding doors and pivot doors. By carefully eliminating all technical aspects, the focus is exclusively on the doors themselves. These are preferably made at ceiling height, which emphasizes the vertical lines in the pattern. The buyer is free to personalize the door in terms of color and material. Decorative elements, such as wood veneer and leather, are also possible.
