In a world where hypercars vie for attention, the Capricorn 01 Zagato manages to distinguish itself. This blisteringly fast creation is the result of a collaboration between the German company Capricorn, known for ultra-light carbon fiber components for top brands, and the legendary Italian design house Zagato. The result: an elegant, muscular sports car that unites modernity and retro charm, complete with the iconic double hump on the roof. Beneath the carbon fiber skin lies an uncompromising analog heart. Thanks to a supercharger, the centrally located 5,2-liter V8 delivers a staggering 900 hp and 1.000 Nm of torque. That power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, resulting in a 0 to 100 sprint in less than three seconds and a top speed of 360 km/h – partly thanks to a dry weight of less than 1.200 kilos. No paddle shifters or digital gimmicks, just pure, mechanical sensation. Inside, everything is old-school purism: fixed bucket seats, adjustable pedals, and a minimalist cockpit without screens, except for a small display for the reversing camera. Only 19 units of the Capricorn 01 Zagato will be built. Each carries a price tag of 2,95 million euros excluding VAT. Distribution is handled by the Belgian Louyet Group.

Mechanical masterpiece with 1.800 hp

In 2026, Bugatti ushers in a new era with the Tourbillon, the successor to the iconic Chiron. Only 250 examples will be hand-built in Molsheim, each priced starting at 3,8 million euros. The hypercar combines pure mechanical power with electric refinement: a brand-new 8,3-liter V16, developed with Cosworth, works alongside three electric motors for a stunning total output of 1.800 hp. With the legendary Speed ​​Key, the Tourbillon reaches a top speed of 445 km/h, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2,0 seconds. Remarkably, the plug-in hybrid is lighter than its predecessor and can also drive more than 60 kilometers on pure electric power. Inside, Bugatti opts for a timeless, almost watchmaker-like approach. The instrument panel is a Swiss precision clock that remains stationary while the steering wheel turns around it. The center console is finished with crystal glass and aluminum switches, and a subtle retractable screen appears only when needed. It is no coincidence that the name Tourbillon refers to a sophisticated timepiece mechanism: this is Bugatti's ode to analog perfection in a digital world – a symbiosis of art, technology, and speed.

Six-wheeled futuristic fantasy

The Lexus LS is no more. At least, not as a classic top-tier sedan. During the Japan Mobility Show, Lexus presented three visions of the future, and none of them still has four doors or modest ambitions. The Lexus LS Concept is a six-wheeled MPV of epic proportions, with sliding doors and three rows of seats. Why six wheels? More interior space and more distinctiveness. In addition, there is the LS Coupe Concept: not a coupe, but an electric SUV with bamboo, gullwing doors, and zero physical buttons. And the LS Micro Concept, a single-seater with three wheels for the urban loner. The new LS is therefore no longer a car, but an idea. Wankel engine with a wow factor

After the stunning Vision Coupé and the Iconic SP, Mazda is now introducing the Vision X-Coupe: a plug-in hybrid featuring a turbocharged two-rotor rotary engine under the elongated hood (the car measures over five meters!), coupled with an electric motor. Together, they deliver a hefty 510 hp, enough to leave many an EV in the dust. And you can also hum along quietly: the Vision X-Coupe has a range of about 160 kilometers on pure electric power. Furthermore, Mazda claims that this concept reduces CO₂ emissions the more you drive, thanks to fuel from microalgae and proprietary CO₂ capture technology. Whether that is marketing poetry or pure magic, it sounds delightfully quirky. Design-wise, this is an evolution of Mazda's 'Kodo' philosophy: sleek, fluid, seductive. One thing is certain: if Mazda builds this thing, we already want a test drive.

Driving and viewing pleasure

BMW recently unveiled a new temptation: the Concept Speedtop. A name that sounds like a superhero, but is in reality an M8 with shooting brake allure. It is actually going into production, although only 70 units will be built. Exclusivity guaranteed. The Speedtop is what you get when a coupe and a sporty station wagon rent a villa in Italy together: sleek, rare, and excessively stylish. The Floating Sunstone Maroon paint transitions subtly into Sundown Silver. Inside, you’ll find Moonstone White leather that is so white you hardly dare sit on it in jeans. China's luxury titan storms into Europe

In April 2026, Denza, BYD's premium brand, makes its entry into the European market. The spearhead of the launch is the Z9 GT, a luxury shooting brake with both electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, delivering around 1.000 hp and featuring a futuristic interior full of screens and smart technology. Thanks to four-wheel steering and the so-called 'crab mode,' it can even park sideways. But the real revolution lies in BYD's new Flash Charging technology: charging at 1.000 kW, providing a range of 400 kilometers in just five minutes. That makes 'flash charging' almost as fast as refueling. BYD is also rolling out its own network of fast-charging stations, where batteries act as energy buffers on-site. In addition to the Z9 GT, Denza is also working on the Z sports car, which was spotted at the Nürburgring. This electric coupe (presumably with three motors and 952 hp) is designed to take on Porsche. With its magnetic suspension and aerodynamic design, Denza seems ready to convince Europe: from range anxiety to pure electric ambition.
