Pablo Lucker is the seventh generation of an artist family from the south of the country. Lucker, born in Roermond, was named after the one and only Pablo Picasso and was clearly born to enter the art world. Pablo Lucker is known for his striking handwriting, the so-called “Dream Script”, with which he expresses emotions or identities visually instead of with letters. King of my Heart & Queen of my dreams

“King of my Heart & Queen of my Dreams is a symbiosis. It symbolizes the ultimate love between man and woman, where your partner is your entire world. The glittering background symbolizes passion and shared dreams. As a creator it has been a challenge to bring this work back to its essence. Expressing a person or even a love with just a few lines is a challenge where every movement and shape are important. This work was a search for the art of omission and that also fits with the message: love is the essence of our existence.

This work is the first screen printing series I have ever made and will be launching soon. The screen print is made up of six printing layers using special gold and silver inks. The top printing layer is edited by hand.”

Love Sign

“What jewelry is on the body, in my view it is art for the interior. The perfect, timeless addition. These 'Love Signs' are made of 24-carat gold and thus decorate the house in a stately manner. I once heard the saying: “the heart that gives, gathers” – a statement that really touched me. This work is the physical translation of that, it is a message that I want to give people in the form of a daily reminder, something that you look at with love every day. The heart for love, the tongue for doing things with pleasure, and the hat for everything you do; do it with style. The cross symbolizes Amsterdam and the lightning represents that hard impact: the moment you know you really have chemistry with someone.”

“The older I get, the more I start to realize that it is good for a person not to lose the child within themselves. You used to think that everything was possible. You created your own world through your imagination and that made you feel free. That is a feeling I want to celebrate. My friends used to nickname me Pablitto and this character is a nod to my youth. I always had the dream to design my own archetype, my own character. Thanks to new techniques such as 3D printing, that dream has now become a reality. As a creator, I look for innovative ways to develop 3D concepts. MR. Pablitto, my own totem, has now really emerged from a childhood dream.”
