Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, have purchased a stunning waterfront estate on the exclusive Indian Creek Island, just off the coast of Miami Beach. The villa reportedly sold for around $170 million, making it the record-breaking sale for the most expensive home ever sold in Miami-Dade County. The previous record stood at $120 million.

Indian Creek Island isn't known as the "Billionaire Bunker" for nothing. The island has fewer than forty homes and even has its own police force. Zuckerberg also gains a remarkable list of neighbors: Jeff Bezos already lives there, as do Ivanka Trump, investor Carl Icahn, and former NFL star Tom Brady, among others.

Hair salon (at home)

The villa itself is anything but modest. Still under construction, it will eventually span nearly 2.600 square meters and sit on a roughly five-acre lot. With some sixty meters of direct views of Biscayne Bay, there's certainly no shortage of water or space. According to the real estate agent, it's even the largest home ever built on the island.

The design is by renowned designer Ferris Rafauli, who previously worked on rapper Drake's extravagant Toronto mansion. Inside, everything revolves around luxury and customization. Nine bedrooms, a fitness room, a hair salon, a massage room, and a striking 5.500-gallon aquarium will be included. A library with a hidden passageway is also planned.

Outside, the resort feel continues. Imagine a large swimming pool, a spacious garden, and a private jetty where a yacht can easily dock. With views over the bay, it's a place where you can probably easily spend some time.

The sellers are plastic surgeon Aaron Rollins and real estate agent Marine Rollins. They purchased the property in 2020 for approximately $30 million and have been working on the villa's construction in recent years. In late 2025, the house went on the market for $200 million, ultimately selling for $170 million.

For Zuckerberg, this is the latest addition to an already substantial real estate portfolio. The Meta CEO owns a large estate on Kauai, Hawaii, several homes around Lake Tahoe, and a sprawling residential complex in Palo Alto. With this purchase, Miami also appears to be a permanent fixture on his personal real estate map.
