Monique: “He makes beautiful jewelry, including enormous ones eye-catchers that really catch the eye. He sees a piece of jewelry as architecture. I never like buying standard things. It must always have something special and size. But if I see something that I love, I immediately turn it into a whole project and then I really look for it.”

Monique: “A shopping basket in Chanel style. So amazing, just kind of a piece of art. However, you still have to put a separate bag in it, otherwise your lipstick and change will fall out.”

Scented candles Courrèges

Monique: “The fashion brand Courrèges now also has scented candles. They come in a perspex box and are completely in the style of the fashion brand: sleek, sixties-esque. Wonderful scents! Available at Het Arsenaal.”

White Patchouli, Tom Ford

Monique: “When I love a perfume, such as White Patchouli by Tom Ford, I remain loyal for a long time. Until I can no longer smell it myself. As a child I liked patchouli. Then I bought essential oil in an Indian shop. There's something nostalgic about it.”

FieldCandy tents

Monique: “They are so awesome! One tent looks like an open book, the other like a piece of melon. Super creative. If we were to camp one day, it would be in a FieldCandy tent. It wouldn't look out of place as artwork in our garden.”
