Michelin announces 15 new Bib Gourmand restaurants
The full list will be presented in Maastricht on 7 October, but the culinary anticipation is already in full swing. Just before the unveiling of the new MICHELIN Stars, Michelin announced fifteen brand-new Bib Gourmand restaurants; ready to tantalise your taste buds?
The logo with the appetizing Bibendum – created in 1997 – is a guarantee of excellent value for money, regardless of the cooking style or concept of the restaurant. Whether it is a rich terrine, a glorification of cauliflower or a versatile rice table: chefs with the Bib Gourmand use their expertise to bring generous and irresistibly enjoyable dishes to the plate. Guests eat a complete meal for a reasonable price.
''A coveted award for gourmets seeking special and affordable dining experiences''
“We are delighted to launch the presentation of our new Dutch selection with the restaurants that have been awarded a Bib Gourmand,” says Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guides. “It is a coveted distinction for gourmets looking for special and affordable dining experiences. An invitation to enjoy a generous, convivial and often uninhibited cuisine. After more than a year of research throughout the Netherlands, our inspectors have found fifteen new gems that together represent a diverse culinary and conceptual panorama.”
