It's allowed again, full steam ahead
Double celebration for cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises. You can sail again. This allows the cruise line to resume the inaugural season of the Seven Seas Splendor, which was only able to complete two cruises with guests more than a year after its christening in February 2020. The SailSAFE program
The luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has been delivering an unparalleled experience to its guests for more than 25 years. However, the corona crisis put a stop to this last year. Regent Seven Seas Cruises decided to voluntarily suspend its cruises. During this period, the shipping company has not been sitting idle, but has been working on the new, extensive health and safety program SailSAFE to create protection against Covid-19. The program is scientifically substantiated and developed under guidance from a team of public health and science experts, including the SailSAFE Global Health and Wellness Council.
The SailSAFE program will provide a good balance between safety, comfort and freedom through spacious suites, multiple culinary dining options and extensive communal areas.
Worth the wait
The new program will allow the Seven Seas Splendor to make its first sailing from the United Kingdom at the beginning of September, after a year. The trip lasts 11 nights and will visit Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland from Southampton, England.
President and chief executive officer Jason Montague says the cruise is worth the wait: “With stunning design, luxurious suites, exquisite cuisine, dynamic entertainment and excellent personal service, Seven Seas Splendor one of the most highly anticipated ships in the history of cruising and my promise to our loyal and ambitious guests is that the ship will undoubtedly be worth the wait.”
The cruise line will maintain as many of the originally planned itineraries as possible, as the global health climate allows at the time. But you never have to be bored on Regent's beautiful ships. In addition to all the unlimited free excursions offered during the trip, the shipping company also offers numerous options on board. There is a range of specialty restaurants, outdoor dining options and entertainment.
