The Amsterdam Terraces Festival

The gates of the Rembrandt Park will open on Thursday, July 27 to 30, for the Amsterdam Terraces Festival. A culinary event where you can enjoy the specialties of restaurants and food trucks from Amsterdam. Expect a casual atmosphere and performances by surprising acts. For example, have fun at the silent disco and dance to the greatest hits and old classics.

Pride Amsterdam 

As part of Queer & Pride Amsterdam, the rainbow runner will be rolled out in Amsterdam from 1 to 6 August for the annual Pride Amsterdam. This year's theme, #YouAreIncluded, represents both individuals and groups fighting for equal rights. About 300 events will take place during Pride, something for everyone and every community has been taken into account. The world-famous boat parade will sail through the Amsterdam canals on Saturday, August 5. 

Visit an open-air theater 

The attractive Caprera open-air theater is located between the dunes and the forest. Here you can enjoy music, cabaret, dance, classical, opera, theater and children's performances every summer. The theater is open from May to September and receives more than 50.000 visitors annually. Many great artists have appeared on stage. For example, on Saturday September 2 you can enjoy a concert by Singer-Songrapper Snelle. In addition to Caprera, the Netherlands has many other open-air theaters. So has your favorite artist's concert just sold out? The open-air theater Vondelpark in Amsterdam, Bostheater Ommen or the Amsterdamse Bostheater also offer some nice options this summer.

Wine Festival Rotterdam

Attention wine lovers; The Wine Festival returns to Rotterdam on August 18 and 19. On these dates, Grotekerkplein will be transformed into an intimate wine festival. Enjoy more than 100 different wines and tasty treats here. All this while enjoying pleasant music. 

Spoon Spoon Local 

From August 24 to 27, Lepeltje Lepeltje will settle in the Burgemeester Brouwerplantsoen in Amersfoort. Surround yourself with culinary creativity, worldly music and wander past market stalls full of special items for four days.
