A dream come true

Rachel Pietersma turned her passion into her own company 10 years ago and is the proud owner of Kids Party Planner, an high-end agency who provides unforgettable children's parties at an international level. She turns every children's party into a dream, for both the children and the parents. Nothing is too crazy for Rachel and everything is done. By sweet sixteen parties up to 80 different party themes and tailor-made children's parties. Also takes care of Kids Party Planner weddings, family parties and business events where children are on the guest list.

A few years later she set up her second business: High End Nanny Service. Rachel: “In short, I deliver from the High End Nanny Service nannies in the hospitality, events and corporate world. From private nannies to mobile kids clubs for high-end hotels, fairs & events and company parties. Parents are completely unburdened and kids are optimally entertained.”

Always (re)member

Rachel became a MASTERS Member in 2019. “The various beautiful locations and activities in one high-end level really appeals to me. From golfing and dinner to sailing on the beautiful canals of Amsterdam with the tastiest snacks and drinks. Of course I met many people from different industries. The MASTERS Members are often entrepreneurs and directors who have years of experience. After 10 years of entrepreneurship, this is appropriate for the steps and growth you experience at this level,” says Rachel.

Rachel's networking tip

“Networking is very important as an independent entrepreneur. The people I work with are people I have mainly encountered through networking events. Networking is of course more than attending events. It also means taking the plunge and walking into something 'cold'. Networking gives me a lot of positive energy. You are infected by what you interact with and if they are successful people, then this is of great benefit to yourself. As a networking tip, I would also give you to enjoy all the entrepreneurs around you and their beautiful stories. Be yourself because that makes you a beautiful and unique entrepreneur.”
