Ibiza in your backyard

Landscape architect Erik van Gelder is a household name in the luxury segment. He is a real master in creating an ultimate and rich holiday feeling in every backyard and he also responds precisely to the wishes and needs of the customer. In recent years, the profession of the landscape architect has become increasingly broad and he is tackling this change with both hands. The garden is a living space that is used all year round. In periods like now - when people are increasingly staying at home - a lot of time and attention is paid to the garden. Erik: “What could be better if your garden is designed as a wellness center or a nice place where you can relax. We make those dreams come true.”

Innovation is 'the key'

Sitting still is not an option. One is in the works fire movie, to create a piece of experience, vision and inspiration. A second book is also in the works. This time with even more exclusive, high end photos and projects. Think of swimming pools with a bar and glass that you can see through. Or a beautiful roof terrace with private bar. “A real eye-catcher for your coffee table,” says Erik.

Erik became a MASTERS Member in 2019. According to Erik, it is important to do business together with like-minded people who are in the same segment – ​​in this case the luxury segment. Erik: “You start thinking on a different level when you come into contact with these people. I enjoy thinking together with colleagues who are in the same field about which direction our company can go. I don't do the real networking of the past with exchanging cards. I do find it interesting to ask what someone does and to delve deeper into it. Especially when I meet fellow entrepreneurs who are also in the gardening world. This industry is becoming increasingly broader, because you also have to deal with lighting and interior design. This all comes together during the MASTERS League.”
