Family for all

Chantal was a florist and Marion worked in a hospital pharmacy. Now, in 2021, the sisters are at the head of a successful interior design company. “51 years ago our father got it construction company set up. I was the first of the three to work at my father's company, and then my brother followed. We hired a carpenter who built kitchens in his spare time, and that's how the idea of ​​making our own was born kitchens to make. After the kitchens came the interior, and after the interior came another business takeover of a carpentry company near us. From then on we made the division: my brother the outside, I the inside. That is, my brother has the two construction companies House and Hoex Bouw. Hoexbouw does the major work and the luxury houses House realizes. The interior, the inside, that is the branch of my sister and me,” says Marion.

Attention to detail

When the designer who worked in the company at the time left, Marion thought that this creative position could be assigned to her sister Chantal. “According to my sister, I was the creative one of the family, and I didn't have to think long about her asking if I wanted to join the company too. I took the leap and changed my career from florist to... designer and seller. The switch was quite easy, because as a florist you already have a good eye for it retail. This went a bit further, but through internal drive I made it my own. I particularly enjoy the intensive customer contact. I enter their home, and the click that can arise from that is special. People tell me a lot, and that allows me to really get into the soul of it products laying,” says Chantal.

Customization & Trends

The company now has 57 employees, and everything the team does Tight is manufactured in our own workshop. The creativity is palpable in every design and everything revolves around surprising customer specific. In the field of the latest interior trends Chantal and Marion are always informed. “We work a lot with dé top designers from The Netherlands. We get the latest trends from them. Because we make everything ourselves, we check whether we can do something with certain techniques innovative can develop.”
