Do I work

In 2009, Ivan Karels founded employment agency Werk & IK, which is now located in five countries. “I'm not average employment agency, but one concept agency which focuses mainly on aviation. The unique concept of Werk & IK is that we contribute to the productivity of every company at Schiphol. We train our own people and create full-time jobs. A baggage handler is no longer just a baggage handler, but he or she also fulfills the role of a logistics employee. As a company you can help these people part time hire. The average employee at an airport Do I work  has three clients in a week. The advantage: people are deployed efficiently in multiple positions, meaning a company needs to hire fewer people,” says Ivan.

Entrepreneurial tip

“No matter how cliché it sounds: you always have to keep going. I didn't panic during Covid-19. This is the situation, and we must move on. I have often found myself in situations where I wondered how to continue paying salaries. There was always a solution.”
