Image: Krisztina HorvathThe Dutch woman, born in Hungary and former ballerina, lawyer and photographer, enjoys the physical involvement and creative freedom that abstract painting offers her. Moreover, her art is an important source to communicate her views and ideas to the viewer. Especially about its most important theme: the impact of man on his natural environment. For the viewer, the titles underline this common thread in her work. An important source of inspiration for Horvath is Eastern and Zen art, including the Japanese Gutai movement. Her canvases often exude an elegant oriental aesthetic that is very popular with art collectors at home and abroad. Krisztina donates to charities that protect nature. She now donates 10 percent of every work sold to the World Land Trust (WLT), an institution that buys rainforests for protection. Look at here her beautiful works.
