'MASTERS EXPO BREAKS THE DOOM THINKING'
In a groundbreaking event, the norms of doing business were redefined. After the turbulent corona years, great business was done for five days in a luxurious setting, without restrictions. Founder Yves Gijrath: 'Everyone who contributed to the success of the past five days has broken through the doom-mongering. This is the way business transactions should be accomplished and celebrated.”
The business arena with the large, small and picturesque stands and unique concepts, where entrepreneurs, investors, CEOs, leaders, politicians and visionaries met to do business is unique in the world.
We were introduced to the novelties of many special (family) companies from more than 20 different industries. From mobility to watchmaking and from real estate to art. On an area of over 40.000 square meters, enterprising Dutch people were tripping over each other. It is the largest social networking event in the Netherlands.
It was the place where family business Lengers Yachts named its first own boat brand Stratos. Football legend Dennis Bergkamp unveiled his own banknote and tech entrepreneur Ali Nikman received the lifetime achievement award: Businessman of the Year from real estate expert Cor van Zadelhoff.
Entrepreneur Yves Gijrath unveiled GREAT BOOK OF GREATNESS on Friday, which he developed with the new artist collective YVESKE.
Shoulder to shoulder
In Restaurant M, gastronomic Dutch people celebrated their special profession. Top chefs from the Netherlands with no fewer than 55 Michelin stars cooked for five days, shoulder to shoulder, for more than 1.000 prominent guests.
The fair closed on Business Monday with thousands of CEOs, entrepreneurs, visionaries, celebrities, influencers, top athletes and newsmakers.
Top entrepreneurs, media personalities and prominent figures came together in the MASTERS TALKS Café to philosophize about the future of the Netherlands. Numerous speakers such as Cor van Zadelhoff, Robert Eenhoorn, Jort Kelder, Tscheu La Ling, Sanne Wevers, Nina Brink, and Ali Niknam were inspiring. In an intimate setting they confronted visitors with a different view of the (entrepreneurial) world and provided food for thought.
It was a special trip where musicians, dancers, talents, top bosses and brand chiefs amazed, inspired and met the guests.
MASTERS EXPO is not just an event, it is a movement that sets the course in the world of business introductions. Trade fair organizer Yves Gijrath looks back with satisfaction: 'meeting each other in a festive environment is the best proof of doing business. I am pleased that personal contact is the best recipe for closing lucrative deals and presenting special brands from striking stands. A method for success. The longing for the past is increasing enormously in a world that is increasingly focusing on digitalization. The mix is the formula for every ambitious brand and company.
Flood of deals
MASTERS EXPO was the scene of a flurry of significant business deals and purchases this year. The event provided an ideal opportunity for forging valuable business relationships and closing lucrative deals, making it the undisputed hub for business transactions. Benno Leeser, CEO of Gassan Diamonds, signed a new 3-year agreement with the organization of MASTERS EXPO. 'Once again we have achieved record sales with Gassan. You won't find it better than this', according to Benno Leeser.
Consistent Growth in Popularity
With a healthy attendance of 41.500 visitors, MASTERS EXPO underlines its enduring appeal and market leadership in the business community. This confirms the value and importance of MASTERS EXPO as an annual and festive epicenter for professionals and guests.
With all facets of the Dutch business sector represented, MASTERS EXPO has positioned itself as the premier gathering for entrepreneurs and business leaders. The diversity of the participants highlights the dynamic and powerful nature of the Dutch business world.
This year, MASTERS EXPO dazzled with a series of new product launches, making the event a core platform for innovation. The launches were not only a demonstration of the latest innovations but also a testament to MASTERS EXPO's role as a catalyst for progress in the business world.
Looking to the future, the next edition will build on this year's unprecedented success. MASTERS EXPO '24 has the theme: LA BELLE ÉPOQUE. The fair will take place from December 12 to 16 in RAI Amsterdam. The summer edition of MASTERS will take place from 20 to 22 June in De L'Europe Amsterdam.
