New masterpiece on wheels blurs the line between circuit and public road

Maserati recently introduced the world to its latest Italian speed icon: the GT2 Stradale. The supercar was unveiled during Monterey Car Week, where car enthusiasts and collectors marvel at the best the automotive world has to offer.

The GT2 Stradale positions itself as a masterpiece of performance and design, with a top speed of 320 km/h, 640 hp and a weight that is 60 kg lighter than its 'little' brother, the MC20. And you can feel it: with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2,8 seconds, this Maserati is not only fast, but also a paragon of pure driving pleasure.

But what makes the new model truly special is the fusion of advanced racing technology and comfort for everyday use. According to Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati: ''This model, intended for everyday use, has been developed from the desire to offer our customers ever more in terms of technical mastery, innovation, design and driving emotion: on the one hand, we find sophisticated solutions normally reserved for models designed exclusively for the track, the embodiment of Maserati's racing DNA; on the other, we can guarantee optimum comfort combined with the most advanced driving assistance systems.'' 

With various options and customization possibilities, the car can be tailored to personal preferences, from improvements in aerodynamics to visual adjustments via Maserati's Futuristic series programAnd for those who regularly visit the circuit, a track package is available to further optimize performance on the track.

The flagship

The flagship of the interior are the new carbon seats, covered in Blu Elettrico Alcantara, designed in collaboration with Sabelt. The seats offer the possibility to set the seating position extra low for an even sportier driving experience and are available in two sizes. In addition to the standard large size, there is a smaller version; ideal for circuit use.

The sporty character is further emphasised by the steering wheel, an evolution of the design previously developed for the MC20 with input from former world champion Andrea Bertolini. Covered in Alcantara, it features only the essential buttons, such as Start and Launch Control. Integrated in the upper corner are LED lights that indicate exactly when to change gear and when it’s time to open the throttle…
