The edition of this collection is extra special because it was designed by the late Virgil Abloh. The collection was even one of the last projects before the designer died. In May, the French fashion house opened an extensive exhibition spotlighting Abloh's 47 versions of the Air Force 1, equipped with the Checkerboard print the Louis Vuitton logo.

A total of nine different new versions of Nike AF1 x Louis Vuitton x Virgil Abloh will be released this drop. There is, among other things, a white, black and gold pair. It was initially thought that the shoes would be offered exclusively to VIP customers, but to everyone's surprise the collection simply appeared online on the Louis Vuitton website.
