Long Island Yachts presents exclusive new boat

Long Island Yachts from Voorschoten has been building exclusive motorboats for the demanding water sports enthusiast since 2005. The company's yachts have now also been discovered by boat experts from international yachting hotspots, such as Newport Beach, Saint Tropez and Portofino. But it is Amsterdam where Long Island introduces the new 29 Runabout, exclusively at MASTERS EXPO. Make sure you don't miss the boat… 

The stylish yacht of 8,80 meters with overnight accommodation completes the Runabout range. And is available in lengths of 7.5 meters, 8.8 meters, 10 meters and 12 meters. With the elegant design, superior finish and innovative features of the 29 Runabout, Long Island defines a new standard.

The 29 Runabout – which can be admired at MASTERS EXPO – was built for a Danish entrepreneur and is equipped with a Yanmar V8 diesel of 370 hp. The owner will use the 29 Runabout, next to his Dutch-built superyacht, as a day boat on the Øresund, the sea between Denmark and Sweden.

Americans charmed

Tommy Hilfiger, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos and other top entrepreneurs had their superyachts built in the Netherlands. The Dutch builders enjoy world fame and have an international reputation to uphold.

After mainly Dutch customers found their way to the Long Island Yachts yard in Voorschoten, more and more yachts are now being built for international customers. Americans in particular are charmed by the work of the Dutch boutique yacht builder.

Due to the high degree of customization, Long Island is able to respond to the special wishes of the American market. For example, there are currently a few Long Islands with hardtops under construction for America. Boats with outboards are popular here and construction will soon start on a Long Island 33 Runabout with two outboard motors for an experienced American customer.
