At MASTERS EXPO, Maretti Lighting demonstrates that light can be more than just functional. Think sculptural, sustainable, and with a touch of poetry. In Hall 12, visitors not only get a glimpse into the future of lighting but also a glimpse into the minds of a designer and a technician who understand each other perfectly.

Maretti Lighting boasts over thirty years of experience, illuminating thousands of projects in that time, from residences to hotels and high-end hospitality venues. Thanks to its in-house production and technical expertise, the brand is unparalleled in creating customized lighting solutions. At MASTERS EXPO, Maretti will present a brand-new booth in Hall 12 themed "Gallery." A concept that emphasizes encounters, connections, and the play of space. Think: room dividers, height differences, and a presentation that literally rises above the booth.

Blossoming Light: The Premiere of the Hortense Collection

MASTERS was given a sneak peek at what's to come, with the world premiere of the Hortense collection, designed by artist Annet van Egmond, taking center stage at the stand. With over 36 years of international experience, she is one of the most influential women in her field.

In 2019, a new chapter in her development began. She created her own Art Space and sculpture garden, a place where she completely surrounded herself with nature. She spent countless hours there, observing how hydrangeas grow and how their geometric patterns, veins, and Y-shaped repetitions unfold like natural rhythms.

The flower shape that emerged from this research was so unique that Van Egmond obtained its own patent. The design forms the essence of every light sculpture in the collection, the heart of a years-long, independently developed process in which form and light converge.

Parallel to this nature study, Annet worked for four years on Miss Nightingale, an international solar project focused entirely on sustainable lighting. During this period, she developed an ultra-thin, highly efficient 1-watt light in 2019, a technological innovation that now plays a key role in the Hortense collection. As she herself says: “Combining technology in my work reveals a lot about the time in which it was created. The technology we use now can only exist today. Twenty years ago, it wasn't possible to produce a sustainable light source like we can today.”

You can soon register via the Maretti website for one of the first 25 masterpieces from the Hortense collection. Each piece is handcrafted, signed by Annet van Egmond, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
