Art, Christmas and a mission: Fonds Gehandicaptensport at MASTERS EXPO
During MASTERS EXPO, the charity will have a prominent platform. The Disabled Sports Fund is launching a unique collaboration that surprisingly combines art, Christmas, and social impact.
No fewer than 1,8 million people in the Netherlands live with disabilities. For them, sports are far from a given, yet they can be so beneficial: boosting self-confidence, health, and social connection. The Disabled Sports Fund is committed to providing inclusive sports infrastructure so that people with disabilities can also enjoy sports close to home.
The Disabled Sports Fund achieves this by providing subsidies to non-profit sports organizations, through information and research, and through the Unique Sports platform, where supply and demand meet. The business community is also involved: through the 1% FairShare® scheme, sponsors are encouraged to invest 1% of their total sports sponsorship in disabled sports.
Gift set with a gold edge
And at MASTERS EXPO, everything gets a festive and artistic twist. What do you get when you put art, Christmas, and champagne in a luxurious box? Exactly, an irresistible gift set with a golden edge. Specially for the fair, a limited edition set of hand-painted Christmas baubles has been created by Dutch celebrities in co-creation with Milan Sipistoo, stylishly packaged, and accompanied by a bottle of champagne that's almost too beautiful to open.
Behind the brush? Artist Milan Sipistoo, an internationally acclaimed artist who, with his colorful signature, transforms every ball into a collectible. Unique, festive, and meaningful. All proceeds from the campaign will go to the Disabled Sports Fund.
During the exclusive Gentlemen's Luncheon at MASTERS EXPO, four extra-large specimens will also be auctioned. One of the five has already been given away: it found its way to Princess Margriet and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven in honor of their 50th anniversary.
All the Christmas baubles were supplied by Avontuur-Blachere, who are also fully responsible for decorating the Disabled Sports Fund stand.
