Royal Range Rover goes under the hammer
A palatial Range Rover is about to find a new owner. Next month, a 2004 model previously owned by the late Queen Elizabeth II will be auctioned by Iconic Auctioneers. The stately SUV comes with all the special options that Her Majesty would have requested...
The late Queen's Range Rover was built by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations and is one of the third generation of Range Rovers. The bodywork has a green color with a sand-colored interior, similar to that of her spare vehicle, a 2009 Jaguar X-Type Estate.
The 19-year-old car has more than 160.000 kilometers on the odometer, but is still in good condition. It is not a normal model; the Range Rover is equipped with several additional options, such as a custom grille with hidden lighting, seat covers for both the front and rear seats and a grille to prevent dogs from entering the cabin from the trunk. In addition, the car contains double rear window wipers and extra handles at the rear to make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. Under the hood is a 4,4 liter petrol V8 with 282 hp.
Iconic Auctioneers expects it to be regal Auction gem between the € 60.000 in € will yield 70.000.
