Kabaz: Understated Luxury

When MASTERS asks Bertram Beerbaum about the Kabaz style, he says that it can best be described as 'Understated Luxury'. According to the general manager and designer of the full-service (interior) architectural firm Kabaz, not a luxury that immediately catches the eye, but omnipresent and that takes living pleasure to a higher level. Beautiful materials, fine fabrics, refined details, everything thought through and worked out in detail.

The agency masters several design styles, but has embraced casual luxury. The appearance is minimalist, but with a 'luxury swing'. Bertram explains that this is partly because a lot of custom furniture is used in the Kabaz projects: 'This is the transition between architecture and interior. It creates a recognizable style in your home. You see the same wood in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, wardrobes and bookcases. In addition, the same basic colors have been used everywhere. This is about creating coherence and peace.'

And this does Kabaz with a whole team of enthusiastic specialists who not only create, but also direct and execute. From design to the labeled bedding in the cupboard. Each project offers a total experience that stimulates the senses. An interplay of elements, tailored to the wishes of the client, but in Kabaz's unmistakable signature.
