Meet Jort Kelder
Journalist Jort Kelder has been a familiar face for years. Until 2007 he was editor-in-chief of business magazine Quote and for many years he has been active as a presenter of successful programs such as What's it actually like?, Dragon's Den and current affairs programme On 1. Kelder wrote several books over the years and served as a columnist for, among others NRC Handelsblad en Het Parool.
Frigate Island, Seychelles
Jort: “Been there before, even when it wasn't yet the Oetker family's toy. And not because Claudia Schiffer consummated her wedding there, but because in few places the Indian Ocean laps so provocatively around your Balinese bed. Jort: “Often tiringly hip and sometimes lousy service, but concours the most beautiful view in Amsterdam for a summer lunch. If it gets a little heated, a dip in the cool pool, watched by the members lounging at the edge of the pool, suffices. Or catch a movie in the most beautiful cinema in the Netherlands. Disclaimer: you have to be a member, so grow a beard and get some tattoos so that you can at least suggest that you are part of 'the creative industry'. Cap Rocat, Mallorca
Jort: “Magical place with military history, because it is located in a monumental fort (where not a single cannon ever roared) on the south coast of the island. Even when Mallorco swelters in the summer sun, the Cap Rocat habitué enjoys cool conditions, protected by meters-thick walls.
