Worthy of a Michelin star

“Jaimie van Heije is definitely a contender for that coveted Michelin star with his restaurant of the same name in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. In fact, it's strange that Michelin hasn't awarded it yet! Jaimie is young, fresh, has a good head, has a good dose of humor, is a fanatic sneaker collector and does not shy away from innovative, creative collaborations. Jaimie gained experience working for Ron Blaauw, where he became Sous Chef. Jaimie's restaurant is located in the two buildings where Ron once cooked his two stars."

Indian roots

“His cuisine is difficult to put into words. He uses all his experience and inspiration to come up with new dishes every day. Jaimie wants to surprise people with exciting dishes and influences from all over the world. However, you can positively catch him with a preference for his grandmother's Indian cuisine, the influences of which you can taste in his dishes.
