About 30 degrees Celsius all year round, not seasonal and a wonderful stay on the island: Curaçao has it. Danny Casimir, broker and founder of Investors Trip, agrees: Investors Trip offers business trips to the island where real estate investors are introduced to everything Curaçao has to offer. The co-founder started Investors Trip with his business partner Cherian Wilson. The information evening is on September 28 at The College Hotel in Amsterdam. During the trip from November 9 to 15, 2021, the group of investors will visit various apartments, hotels, villas and catering establishments. What does Investors Trip do?

“Investors Trip specializes in offering business travel. Thanks to the mix of experience and network, we have managed to build a bridge between investors, project developers and entrepreneurs. Everything is arranged down to the last detail by Investors Trip. The package includes airline tickets, luxurious accommodation, culinary delights and real estate experts. All you have to do is pack your suitcase. Every day we visit different investment properties and culinary places for lunch and dinner. In addition to the business program, there is also an entertaining activity program. It is a journey in which business comes first, of course pleasure. "

Why did you create this trip?

“As a Curaçaoan, I noticed early on that people wanted to invest in projects in Curaçao, but encountered certain issues during the process. Because I was born and raised on the island, I have built up an extremely strong network, where I immediately connect investors with the right people. It's not just about money on the island, it's about the right network and good (business) relationships. Then you have to think about arranging permits, finding the right reliable contractors, all finance matters, the right real estate projects; in short, the entire investment process from A to Z. I really do this from my heart to give something back to Curaçao. Many people go to Ibiza, Mykonos or St. Tropez, but this island has so much to offer and has a lot of potential. It is a pearl in itself.”

Who is Investors Trip for?

“This initiative is for investors who want to invest in an accessible investment with a high return. At the moment all interested parties are Dutch, but of course others are also welcome. Curaçao has a favorable tax climate that can be very interesting for Dutch people. I have also noticed lately that there are many Dutch expats who work 'remotely' on the island. Curaçao is very attractive for multiple purposes! Fifteen investors are selected to join the first trip. It may of course be the case that certain investors decide to invest together in a project during the journey. That is the great thing about the trip, it offers enormous possibilities and opportunities for the group.”

What does the journey entail?

“During the trip on the island we will visit a number of high-end places where investments can be made. We have divided the island into two parts: the northern and the western part. With Investors Trip, we work with investors to only look at prime locations where high returns can be achieved. Then you should think of a return of about four to nine percent. With the group we visit objects near Willemstad, Jan Thiel, Vista Royaal and West Punt. During the trip we will also spend a day on a yacht visiting exclusive projects on the water. The real estate projects consist of partly built projects and partly that are still under construction.”

The trip consists of many more real estate projects that will be discussed in more detail during the information evening. What can interested parties expect during that evening?

“We will receive potential investors at The College Hotel in Amsterdam on September 28. During the information evening, the Minister Plenipotentiary of Curaçao, Mr. Manuel, will give the opening speech. Afterwards, experts will talk about the investment objects, the tax information and of course the travel information. We will end with a delicious Caribbean drink.”

What is the goal?

“Our goal is to help as many people as possible invest their assets in a good way. Investors Trip is all about ensuring that this is done in a good and pleasant way.”

What are the company's further ambitions?

“With Investors Trip we have the ambition to organize other investor trips in the future, but at the moment we are only focusing on real estate trips.”
